In January, our family will be travelling on the Carnival Victory and going to the Westeren Caribean. Our four children will be with us (11, 9, 3 and 1). We would appreciate any suggestions you might have for Cozumel (and Grand-Cayman and Ocho Rios for that matter). Thanks in advance!

Pat and Nancy,

I just came back from the W Carribean w/my kids. A good place in Cozumel would be Playa Mia Beach Club if you are in to the beach stuff. You can go on Shoretrips, com and buy an all incl pkg deal for $41 pp. That incl all your food, drink (even alcohol),chairs,a mini zoo, there is a water trampoline, and iceberg in the ocean that is good for the older kids. They even have life vests for the younger ones. My kids and ourselves had a blast there. If your not into the beach scene, go to Chankanaab Park for the day. You can swim with dolphins,or even just watch, and see sealion shows, etc. It is a beautiful place. Great for a family.

My husbandand I just came back from the western caribbean. It was the best trip we have ever been on.We enjoyed it so much that have decided to take the exact same cruise with our three children next year. They are 10, 7 and 2. We will definatley take them on Capt. Bryans stingray excursion. It was definatley one of the highlights of our trip. He is in the Grand caymans. He took us to the stingray sandbar and we stayed with the stingrays for about 45 minutes, we the went to another spot where we were able to snorkel. It was a blast!

Pat and Nancy,
We loved Chankanaab Park. We did the Dolphin encounter. You don't swim with the dolphins, however you spend about 40 minutes in the water with the dolphin, the trainer and about 10 other guests. The dolphin will kiss you, and shake hands with you. You will have hands on with the dolphin. After they do have a beach in which you can swim and sunbathe, as well as a Mayan ruin villiage replica, it was very cool and educational. I really recommend this park. It was about $100.00 pp which included transportation as well. Have fun!!!
