It is also a SCUBA site, as you can see, but it is great for snorkeling.

I've got some research to do because we'll have a party of 12 (with children ages 7,8,9) and I want to make sure there is also a beach nearby.

There is a very small man made beach there, with chairs (I don't know if they charge anything.) But the restaurant has tables right at the edge. And if the kids can swim, or if you bring life jackets, they can snorkel. I saw kids there in December. My son started snorkeling at 7. Also, the water down there is very bouyant (high salt content.)

Hi Chibertb, were back!!
Yes that snorkelling area is open. It is located at the Paridise Bar and Grill Restaurant, and the spot is called Eden rock. There were people out in the water while we were having lunch. Also seen the sand sharks that were swimming around with them. It is a pretty location. Enjoy your visit!!!

Thanks for the update!! Did y'all go snorkeling here? Did you notice if you could buy fish food in a long clear tube?

I forgot to ask. Is it easy enough to walk here from the pier?

Oh yes, it is not that far. I did not snorkle here so not sure aobut the fish food question.
