Please advise if this snorkeling location is still open and available.
After you get on shore, you turn right and walk a couple of short blocks. There is a small restaurant on the beach. Right in front of this restaurant you can snorkel for free and it was a great place. I went about ten years ago and we saw barracuda, a sand shark and lots of small fish. It was very deep.
Can you still snorkel at this place? I don't remember the name of the restaurant, but they had great conch.
Love that place! My husband and I discovered it about 7 years ago while on a Celebrity cruise. Beautiful snorkling and we were practically alone! I'm curious to know if it's still there too, as we are going to be visiting again in April. There's a small dive shop to rent equipment and lockers to rent to store your dry stuff. Hope we get an answer!
I don't think I will be depressed, but will be exhausted and in need of another vacaton to get over this vacation!!!! I certainly will let you know just where this restaurant is and any thing else you would like to know about the Western Carribean Cruise or Georgetown, Grand Cayman. 17 days to go.......
I believe you are talking about Eden and Devil Rock. Yes, they were there in December, and are still a great place to snorkel. If you don't have your own equipment, you can rent it next door at the dive shop.
