Sorry, messed up the 1st posting above. Wanted to know if Enterprise still has a place to return rental on Sun. by Carnival's pier and if there was still anything worth while left to look at walking around? We won't arrive til 4:PM on 3/4.

If you have a couple of hours to kill in Galveston, The Strand will be your best bet. There is a lot of touristy, souvenier junk, like in most tourist destinations, but there are also some nice shops and restaurants as well.

The Enterprise lot is actually a good 20 minutes from the pier.
