Does anyone know if there is any free wifi spots in any of the piers or nearby in: Georgetown, G.C., Oranjestad, Aruba, Cargagena, Colombia, Cristobal Pier, Panama and Cozumel?

You won't find much of anything free by the piers and port areas. These areas are dedicated to extracting as much money as possible from both the passengers and the crew - which is what I'd do too if I lived there.

Look at this website for a list of free hotspots in the Caribbean basin.

We did have cell phone service in port of Grand Cayman--our network showed on the phone (be careful, the signals on the ship have an additional charge over and above the regularly roam/long distance you get from your plan). We did not even get roaming charges to call Minnesota. Haven't gotten anything like that elsewhere.

The Tea shop near the pier in GC has wifi
Cozumel I think the dive shop in the town also has free wifi

I have found a lot of hot spots around Cayman. Not too sure about the port area but I have been able to get a good WiFi connection on my iPhone from various places around the island. Anywhere near an apartment or condo complex would be a good place to check.
