November 26-29: Thanksgiving in Puerto Rico is a homely, family affair; it's a time when the relatives all gather for a gut-busting meal. Check out how it's done on the island.

November 27-29: The 9th Annual Festival del Pastel takes place in Orocovis. This culinary festival celebrates the iconic food of the Christmas season: the Puerto Rican Pastel, which has its origins with the Taíno Indians.

Hello Dave and Penny, you are welcome and I hope to keep weekly or atleast monthly updates of what`s going on or as we say QUE PASA.
Any other information that I can help the other members with, I will be more than glad to find the answers.
Members can always find a lot of information on the official Puerto Rico Toursit Board web-site

Most of the questions we get are about local restaurants. Casanova Frankenstein has helped on many occasions. It's hard to get to see the island in the short time you're usually there. However, Old San Juan and El Morrow are our usual recommendations. If passengers are staying the day before, we like to recommend other attractions as well. We'll be in San Juan in a couple of weeks and just planned to walk to Old San Juan. I think we'll be there on the 15th or 16th. I remember a couple of great restaurants there, but not their names. I'll know them when I see them

If you hear of something fun, let us know.
