My husband and are taking our first cruise in may. I'm worried about the shore excursions in montego bay. We talked about sunset beach resort or breezes. How do we sign up for those I didnt see them offered from carnival. This chat is wonderful I've learned so much from it.
Also we booked our airfare separately how do I find out abot getting from Houston to Galveston port? Looking for as much information as possible.

Houston to Galveston takes approx. 1 hour. Shuttles are offered from many hotels.

As far as Montego Bay goes, only do an excursion offered through the cruise ship. Although beautiful geographically, Jamaica is a rough country with not much policeing.

We enjoyed Dunns River Falls (Ohos Rios) immensely. Climbing the falls is strenuous and for people who are in pretty good shape. But, it's well worth it! Have fun and stay safe in Jamaica!

Well I did not heed the warning on going the down the day before. We found the airline tickets really cheap that day of. We are just going to use carnival transfers. Thanks though.
