What's the weather like in Dec?

We are 1st time aussie cruisers booked on the Grand Princess Dec 19 2008 for 14 days and are hoping for good weather. We thought around 27 or 28 degrees is that right? And will we get many wet days?

Hi Hellybelly. I found this on the Princess Web site. The default is set to Ft. Lauderdale, but you can use the drop-down box for all of your ports.

I hadn't realized that Princess had this functionality on its Web site. I went there to see your ports of call so I'd be able to search some of the weather sites... this is a great idea for cruisers. Princess!

December weather is unpredictable. Just this last December while on our cruise, the first 2 days were warm and sunny. The last 5 days were cold,(50's F) rain, very windy, and cloudy. We had to shorten our visit to Grand Cayman ( actually was more like an evacuation ahead of a storm) and skipped Jamaica completely. So there are no guarantees for weather.
