Hi. We have done Belize port twice. Check out my posts on Lamanai & New River Safari. Log in, click on the "Find" tab, type in Lamanai, there are several post on this wonderful excursion. I would highly recommend it. I would definately book it via the ship. It is very long, and the first time we almost missed the ship back. Also, a boat broke down, they were able to fix it, it didn't take long. But, we were far into the rainforest. I would definately want to ship to be aware we are stuck in the jungle, and they need to wait for us to get back. You never know. Good luck Lil' Lori

Another must do in Belize is the Cave tubing or the zipline. We did the combination tour of Cave Tubing & Zipline with X-stream its so incredible!!!
