Which one would you guys reccommend?? My husband loves ruins and natural kinds of things where I love the beach but not so into ruins. Xcaret looks like it might combine some of what we both like. We like Pros and Cons. Thanks

I highly recommend Xcaret. We've been there twice and really enjoy it. Some of the things to do there besides the wild animals and birds are cave tubing, beach, dophin encounters and restaurants. There are some ruins along with a couple of shows of mayan dances.

My family just went to Xcaret on our New Years cruise. We have 4 kids (14,11,6,& 2 at the time) and all of us loved it! I would highly recommend it. You have to do the tubing in caves where there is a river. The baby even enjoyed that. It was a once in a life time experience! They take pictures of you while you are floating by on certain points, so no need to try and capture a picture while doing this adventure. We didn't have time to swim with the dolphins, but next time we will. I also loved that the kids got to see some Mayan ruins to have something educational on the trip. I think you will enjoy it. They have something for everyone. Look up Xcaret's website online, you will see. I hope this help you make your decision, but then again I haven't been to Playa Mia Beach.
