Tortola, BVI - Road Town

What is Road Town? Is it a street, island shopping area or what?

It is the capital city of the British Virgin Islands.

Also - I have moved this and some other posts to more appropriate sections such as general cruise chat and Caribbean port chat since they were not exclusive to our Carnival section.

I don't know what you are asking then. Do you mean what does Road Town look like? It is a small town with many streets and people who live there, not unlike any other island town. It is not built-up and congested like Charlotte Amalie.

When I said I wanted to know what "Road Town" was, I didn't know if it was an "island, town, road, street, or what, but NOW I know.

When people mention things that have to do with Road Town, I will know it is the "capitol City" of the BVI now. In otherwords, what they are "writing" about is "located" in Road Town, NOT "on" Road Town.
