Xcaret?

Anyone been? thinking of booking as one of our excursions. This is our first cruise and we are sailing with our 2 children ages 2 10. Is this a good choice???

Hi Dave,

That's the correct spelling i was typing 90 to nothing at the time. I am looking at doing that excursion with my family children ages 2 & 10. Any input would be great?

I've been to Xcaret twice. Many think it is a great place...I am less enamored of it. Xcaret does have a lot of stuff to do, and it does offer a pleasant time. But there is a lot of walking, poor signage, and the annoyance of their taking dollars but giving change in pesos.

It isn't that Xcaret is a bad place, I am just not "wowed" by it. The beach area is nice though.

BTW, I am going to change the thread name so people aren't confused.

Thanks for the redirect, Dave and the review. I also saw the discussion about Tulum and found that useful too. The pesos for change don't bother us. We have 5 grandkids (no. 6 on the way) so we'll bring them some back for show and tell.
