Looking for suggestions on how to spend time in Roatan. What is the best way to see the area?

It's a nice place to snorkel. Or were you looking to see it above water?

Hi webber, welcome to Cruise-Chat. We were in Roatan a few weeks ago. We did a great sail/snorkel through the ship. The water was clear and the coral and fish were really beautiful. The tour took up almost our entire time at the port, but to get to the catamaran, we had to take a van a good ways. There wasn't much to see. There is a shopping area right near where you dock/tender. We had to tender since a Royal Caribbean ship beat us to the birth. It is definitely a place I'd like to go back to, but I like places that haven't become "Americanized", in other words, it is still undeveloped. Hope you have a marvelous cruise and once again, welcome on board!
