Labadee is a private beach owned by RCL. The only Haitians you will encounter are some musicians and laborers working for RCL and the vendors who have permission to sell at the flea market.
The rest of the citizens are on the other side of the mountains or fences. You can not go to any other part of the country.
In fact for all you know you could be in the Bahamas, Dominican Republic or Cuba.
