Experienced Cruisers Please Help,Grand Cayman

We will be in Grand Cayman in September aboard Freedom, I have a tenative plan I would like your thoughts on. Bus ride straight to Hell for souvenirs we missed last time, then bus to Cemetery Beach then bus back to port for shopping and a visit to Abanks Dive Shop maybe a little snorkeling. Will the bus take us around without to much hassle? We would like to interact with the locals but don't want to get lost. Thanks

We haven't tried this yet ourselves as we usually SCUBA dive there, but friends on a cruise a couple of years ago did.
They took a cab directly to Cemetery Beach, and arranged for the cab to come back for them. They said the snorkeling was excellent, and the cab very convenient.

Georgetown is always a zoo, and I'd be inclined to use a cab rather than a bus, and skip the shopping in favor of the beach.

Having had no experience with the busses, I can't really comment on them. Maybe they're OK?

I'd opt for the cab as well. We've taken their "buses", a cab is much nicer. Best wishes!
