We were there last June, 2006. I thought it was great for fun in the sun. We did a speedboat tour around labadee. We booked it through RCCL. It was alot of fun, if you like fast boats. They took us around the coast of the island, saw a ship that was ran aground, and typical coastal "villages" from the boat. I would do it again. They also let us take turns driving the boat, if we wanted too. I don't know if they still do this. I did hear a helicopter flying over, I looked up to see a huge military helicopter with the word "united nations" spelled across it. That was a brutal reminder of how the rest of the island is. It is a nice port for relaxing and watersports I thought.
