Playa Mia in Cozumel

My neighbor raves about this resort. I am booked to take my daughters there when we arrive in cozumel. They are 9 and 6. Anyone been there? What did you think?
This is my first time EVER on a cruise and we are extremely excited. TIA

Playa Mia used to be called Playa Sol. It is a pleasant day at the beach. There are some new buildings for shops, and they have redone the area around the fresh water pool - which is quite popular. We've been there many times, under both names, and it is always nice. The restrooms are spotless and the beer cold. The food is adequate, nothing more than that, but the place is clean and safe. There are always taxis waiting at the entrance, so no worries about getting stranded.

Thank you so much for that! Makes me rest a bit easier having talked to someone else about this. Keeping it kind of low key since I have my daughters. But the "beer is cold" statement makes me feel that much better! Thanks again!
