Labadee Beachs

cruise with RCL but some how I've never been to Labadee....How about a little info on the beachs......20 days & counting.

VERY NICE!
They bring you (for a fee, of course) those little drinks with umbrellas, tone of lounge chairs, you can rent snorkel gear if you want. When we went (several years ago) they had a huge BBQ lunch under a pavillion. We did parasailing there and it was absolutely beautiful. Now they have the zipline ($65, I heard) there are pictures of it on one of the threads somewhere.
Labadee, part of Haiti is fenced off from the general population...so coming and going to the ship there were a few people on the other side of the fence asking for money. Other than that it was exclusive to the only people who got off that RCL ship. They also had a hand full of locals selling their wears in a small building!
Beautiful country and a great start to our cruise!

Have you been to Coco Cay? Labadee is all that Coco Cay is and then some! They have several pavillions for the lunch service now days, along with more of everything as compared to our first visit there in 1997 (I can't believe Labadee has been around so long).

WOW! Has that place grown! Awesome! I'm jealous! We had a great time there and now we'll just have to go back!

Best beaches to take the sun would be hideaway or barefoot beach. You will need to bring your water shoes, in t can be a little rocky in some areas of the ocean. There are plenty of activities to do for everyone: zipline, waverunners, parasailing etc for adults and water park, snorkling etc for children
