Beaches in Nassau

Sailing on Sovereign of the Seas to Nassau. Do any beach resorts offer beach access for a fee?

Jimbo, we were on Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas to Nassau a year or so ago. Royal Caribbean sold a shore excursion that was a day at Breezes all-inclusive resort. A van drove us there mid-morning, and picked us up in the early afternoon. For those wanting to stay longer, you just took a taxi back to the ship.

As an all inclusive resort, the fee of (I think) about $75 per person included all the booze, food, sailing, windsurfing, etc. we cared to use for the duration of our stay.

We have done the excersion to Atlantic resort. It is like 65.00 per person, but well worth it. We never take the boat back, we stay all day on the beach, play around the casino at nitht, then take a cab back to the boat.

My husband and I found a lovely beach just to the right of the Atlantis. Free! It was so beautiful. I think it was called Paradise beach. They had people cutting open coconuts and mixing drinks right on the beach. You must walk around Atlantis hotel and Casino. You are limited because they have Security making sur you don't enter the swimming facilities. A must to see. Jackie from Canada
