Thanks for this report on Tortola. The MORE information I know ahead of time, will help me when I get there. My friend who will be with me who has never cruised, will be "depending" on me to KNOW everything.

I had read somewhere that there was some kind of flea market or something like that when you get off the ship. Do you know anything about that?

The reason I am "interested" in Tortola..... it is a NEW island to "discover." That is the reason I am interested it it. I LOVE "discovering" new islands.

As for NCL, you mentioned the "free styling", THAT is what most people DID NOT like, at least that was the talk when leaving the ship, and on our flight back home. Lots of people talking about it.

As for Carnival, I "discovered" it last year. We went on the Triumph, and had a "wonderful" time.
