snuba for families

First time cruisers- My family with 15,14,&11 year old are sailing on the Mariner of the seas Dec31/06 western caribbean. We have a budget so shore excursions will be limited. Please help me find reputable company to book with at the ports. Also, I'd appreciate any suggestions about the best excursion for your$. Has anyone tried Snuba? My husband does not like to snorkel, so I thought this looked good. Thanks for your suggestions and help.

I have done the helmet dive. It's the same basic idea as Snuma except you have a lot more weight added so you can walk on he ocean floor. I really enjoyed doing it.

They did Snuba from the same boat we were on. I will probably try that on my next cruise.
