Belize City and Costa Maya shore excursion suggestions

My hubby and I are on the Voyager of the Seas in about two weeks. Any suggestions or feedback positive or negative regarding shore excursions would be greatly appreciated.

Husband and I did the ocean kayak/bicycle ride two years ago--it was a lot of fun.

Just got back and din't see any kayak but did see bicycles. Seemed to me to be a nap stop with sun. Prices very high and very high surf and undertow combined with lots of reef rock. Can miss this one next time no problem staying on the ship if we have to go there again.

DO NOT MISS X-Stream Cave Tubing in Belize!!! It was the best excursion of the entire cruise. Our guide was excellent and the trip was amazing. The ship excursion was $90+ per person and X-Stream was only $60!!

Went in Oct on Carnival to Belize. We did a snorkling tour to Shark-Ray Alley. Saw a couple small sharks and a few rays. But the reef was beautiful. This was a 7 hour tour and was a high speed boat ride through some beautiful small islands. After snorkling we went to a small island for lunch at a great restaurant and bar on the pier. THen we wandered the town for about two hours and headed back. It was a fun day of snorkling and also seeing other parts of Belize. Don't know if RCCL has the same tour but usually the tours are similar among different cruise lines.
