Cozumel missed it!!

Power went out about 4:15am but not island wide.

They faired very well.

They both live in Cozumel.

I am making the assumption that a day or two of cleaning up and they will be good to go!!!

Canary has family outside of Costa Maya. She is going to let us know when they hear something!

I am relieved to hear Cozumel got through it relatively unscathed. I fear the same cannot be said for Costa Maya and Mahahual. The eye passed over that area from what I understand.

Dave, I fear you are correct.

The good news ( if there is such a thing with a direct hit of a Cat 5 Hurricane) is that it did not sit and spin on top of Costa Maya like Wilma did on Cozumel for hours and hours. Dean blew on through. That will be their only saving grace!!
