Caribbean shore excursions

Hi - does anyone have suggestions on "must do/see" things to do in Belize, Roatan Honduras and Costa Maya?? Is the shopping good at any of those places?

We were in Belize last year. took an archaelogical tour. It was okay if you had not done a good one before. It was interesting driving all the way to the border, seeing the countryside, and we had a good lunch. There is little shopping. Just a small mall at the port. We were warned not to go elsewhere. The city looks unsafe.

Not much shopping in Roatan, although the dock will probably be lined with little booths, with people selling their local crafts, which are worth a look. Two good possibilities for shore excursions here are beach time and/or snorkeling at Tabyana Beach, or swimming with the dolphins at Anthonys Key (if offered). Nice little island, very uncommercial - at least it was several years ago.

In Belize, one MUST do the Cave Tubing Tour. Fantastic!! You can book directly with the cruiseline or independently via http://belizecruiseexcursions.com/CaveTubingBelize.htm.
In Roatan, the Canopy Tour is great fun. I haven't been to Costa Maya.
