Curacao is a new stop for us on our next cruise and I was hoping to to get some ideas of shore excursions; we are not limited except do not do the jeep things. Thanks in advance.

It's a great place for shopping. There are some really cute restaurants/bars across from where you dock. The island tour is great, especially the Curacao factory-yummy samples. We also did a nice catamaran sail/snorkel a couple of visits. The last time we visited it was raining like cats and dogs, so only went across the canal to town and went shopping. Hope this helps a little.

Thanks Penny. The cat sail/snorkle, was that on own or thru the cruise line? Any one area in particular that you liked for the snorkle.We also like island tours as we can really get a feel for the way life is.

I went to the Sea Aquarium. It was pretty nice. They had an interactive stingray thing was awesome to watch.

We did ours through the ship. They took us to a wrecked tug boat and the sea life was abundant, water was very clear.
