If you don't take an excursion on Coco cay what things are there to do on the island.

I heard banana boat rides, renting of snorkel gear, chairs hamocks, Any thing else - can you rent kayaks?

Is the Jet ski tour worth it? I heard you bascially have to stay in a line. Not a lot of freedom to do what you want.

Is there hiking on the island?

thanks

Coco Cay is approximately 100 acres of sand and scrub brush. It is really an extension of the ship in that the bars and buffet are moved to the island when you stop there. RCI runs all the excursions. You either pay for an excursion with RCI or you sit at one of the beaches and do your own thing. They also set up several bars on the island. It is a nice day with your own private island....along with the passenger capacity of whatever ship you happen to be on.

I really like Coco cay. I think you will find plenty to do there.

My husband and I did the jet ski tour on CocoCay last year. We had a lot of fun! Yes you do "follow the leader". We did stop at different islands and our guide told us some interesting facts about the island. If you liked to go fast, you're at the front of the line. Slow pokes at the rear.

My only suggestion if you decide to go is for everyone to get their own ski. I got cheap and rode with my husband. NEVER AGAIN! It was so hard to hold on. I nearly fell off the skis numerous times.

Yes, I agree, don't ride double, it just slows you down!
