Deep Sea Fishing - St. Maarten ?

Just got back from our cruise, had a great time on the cruise, but our fishing trip was a different story. We fished for 6 hours and caught one fish, a 15 pound Baracuda. Other charters we were listening to on the radio were not doing any better. Did not talk to anyone who went through the ship. Wish we would have spent the money on something different.

Hi wildchild ,No we did not end up going deep sea fishing but did take an excursion on "bubba"(A large fibreglass fishing boat)We went fishing for local fish such as trigger,etc. It was catch & release but still a lotta fun.It was amazing the varieties and beautiful colours of all these fishes.The captain went out about 5 miles from shore And all nine of us did still fishing in about 100 feet of water.I was lucky enough to catch the largest
