I am a little worried about going to Calica now after reading so many limited suggestions. It has been our previous experience to just get off the boat and walk around town and maybe find a vendor to do a water/snorkeling trip? Can this happen here or should I book in advance?

Plus can my parents who are 75 years old and my kids who are 6 and 8 years old enjoy Xcaret?
