We did that pre-hurricane and it was awesome. I don't know what condition the park is in now. I know it's open and I think the dolphins are back. It was an experience I will never forget. The dolphin are so strong, yet interact gently with humans. They are so intelligent and to be able to interact with them even for a while was worth every cent. They did a video for us, which was too expensive-but we bought it anyway, then they took lots of still shots, again too expensive, but we bought a couple. I enjoyed Chankanaab Park as well, but again, it was before the hurricane. There were some places to do beach snorkels and there was a restaurant there. Wise2u has posted that the park is not nearly what it was, but since we haven't been since the hurricane, I can't give you first hand experience. I can say, do the dolphin swim not the encounter. Wherever you decide to do the swim, you will never forget the experience. Best wishes!
