The only listed limits are for height and weight, not age. They should be able to go unaccompanied while you wait down at the beach.

The minimum height to participate is 60 inches (5 feet). Minimum weight 75 lbs, maximum weight 250 lbs.

If you are traveling in 73 days you need to reserve this excursion. It sells out, always. Also try for a morning time, the wind comes up on the island in the afternoon and they often will shut down the schedule due to windy conditions without notice. If they kids are "living for" this excursion I would not wait around.
