Tabyana Beach

Hi anyone knows much about Tabyana Beach in Roatan Island, Honduras? I wanted to join Horseback riding at Tabyana beach shore excursion with the cruise, but wondering if there is any horseback riding tour we can join at the beach instead, so we don't have to join the carnival cruise one. Also is Tabyana beach a good place to snokle?

Went to Tabyana Beach and it was just gorgeous and snorkeling is wonderful. You just go right off the beach past a big bunch of coral and then beyond it is sensational! Didn't see anywhere to take excursions - it is out in the middle of nowhere.

Tabyana Beach IS beautiful and very relaxing. The facilites are pretty spartan but the employees are very friendly and the food was good. I enjoyed the snorkeling a lot but it is very limited. You can't get too far out without guys in kayaks motioning you back toward the beach... sharks, maybe?

It IS out in the middle of nowhere, so I wouldn't try to add a self arranged excursion on top of it.
