beaches key west

Hi! I want to visit at least one beach when cruising Key west and Cozumel. Because we want to see the ruins of Tulum, I'm afraid we don't have time left to spend some hours on of the beaches at Mexico.
So, are there any beautiful beaches at Key west? Any recommended?
