We're going to Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman on Carnival Imagination 6/19/06. When is the latest we can book excursions? I think we are interested in Sting Ray city-not sure about Dunns River Falls...Is there anything else worth doing in lieu of Dunns River Falls?
Does anyone go through Native ways?

I believe you can book shore excursions with Carnival up until about 2 weeks before departure - check with them to be sure. With a separate company, allow at least a week in advance, in case you need to get vouchers sent to you. Two weeks would be better.

You can book on the ship the night before if you want.

You can book anytime. If you book on line (which I would recommend) You don't pay until you show up for the excusion. Booking on line will save you money. If you don't like the idea of climbing the falls in Ocho Rios you may consider booking a resort for a day. We did Sandals and Couples resorts and enjoyed the beach, pool, and food. Of coarse you can always get your hair braided

The last time we went to Ocho Rios we went snorkeling. We booked through the ship and it was a good snorkel. My husband had a knee replacement, so I didn't think the falls were a good idea. It is a fun trip, however. The excursions I want, we usually book on-line before we leave. Then the ports that we have time left after our excursion, I see how much the cab drivers will charge just to take us around. We've had some great trips that way, and less than what an organized tour cost. Have a wonderful cruise!!
