Parasailing in St Thomas

We will be at St Thomas with NCL and are looking at parasailing. Several of our husbands want to go and we women have a few questions. Can we parasail together with our husbands (if two seaters) or is the second seat for instructors, or are they one seater, and if we want to could we just go along on the boat and watch the hubbies?

The past two times we parasailed (although not in St. Thomas) they were two seaters and you got to pick who you went with. The staff stayed on the boat and helped you got on and off.

We lucked out and was able to take our adult son with us to watch. He didn't have a ticket but the staff didn't notice so we didn't say anything. Otherwise, I think everyone has to have a ticket because of the small size of the boats.
