Anyone been to Atlantis??

My cruise stops in Nassau next week and I'd love to see the Atlantis resort - HOWEVER:

I just called Atlantis and Non-guests can only have access to the Casino, restaurants, and the aquarium($25). Is this worth it?

If not, what else can I do? I like scuba diving, snorkeling but not shopping.

Atlantis is an awesome property. The only way you can use all the facilitie, however, is to be a hotel guest. Depending on how many poeple are in your group, you can reserve a room at the Comfort Suites (across the street) for the day as they have Full Atlantis privileges - including all pools, slides, beach, etc. If you don't want to spring for a room, then the Flying Cloud catamaran trip to Rose Island is a great snorkeling option.

Atlantis is breathtaking! We only had a couple of hours to enjoy it as we had to get back on the ship but it is definitely worth going to see. They have a huge aquariums filled with all kinds of marine life. I would however suggest going on your own as the ship charges a lot more.

If you are on the century for the 22nd of March, we could share the comfort suites 198.00 charge to use the Atlantis...

Worth every penny of the $25!!! Take the boat taxi or car taxi and not the ship's tour. You get to see ALL of the resort. The aquariums were amazing!!

We formed a group from our ship and took a private tour that went to the atlantis.The Driver we had was Lionel.He charged us $20 each he asks for more but will settle for 20. We couldn't use the pools or the beach but had a great tour which also included other parts of the Island. Have a good trip.

We toured Atlantis...It was very interesting, but the beach ( Paradise Beach ) was the best part....
You can go to Paradise Beach without going to the Atlantis...You'll love the white sand beaches and clear water!
