Belize Suggestions

Looking for suggestions for Belize. We are not able to do cave tubing due to mobility issues and have already done the ruins. And to make it even more adventuresome - neither couple cares for the beach. Ladies do like the shopping though!

Try "Smugglers Run Plantation" for some ideas.Very nice people-Trevor and his wife will go all out for you,she is a great cook also.

When we were in Belize we went to the Zoo. We used the ships execursion that also included a tour of the city. Was very interesting and the Zoo was nothing like I have seen. Just too bad we couldnt have done that on our own and spent more time there.

We were in Belize in July and booked an excursion on our own through Coral Breeze Belize Tours for the Manatee Watch/Beach Break and Snorkeling---it was the best!! Very flexible--shopping time--relaxing time--we had it all!!

Loved Belize - thinking about retiring there. Took the river boat excursion to the Myan Ruins. Great adventure, don't miss it BUT be prepared to walk once you get off the boat & wear comfortable shoes & bring bug repellant.

Take the Old Belize River and Mayan Ruin excursion...Chance to see mantees, howler monkeys and other wildlife....Cahal Pech is another mayan ruin but it's almost a full day of driving to get there and back...but interesting....and then there are the beachs...lots to do and see...Enjoy your cruise...
