Cozumel's Nachi Cocum

A small group of us, all around 50 y.o. are making our 5th visit to Coz via cruise ship and we are looking for a nice beach to spend the day. I have heard some good thing about Nachi Cocum. Any and all advice and opinions would be welcome. ( p.s. we love the sun and a little tequila)

Great choice. Nachi Cocum has a great beach, good food and a great bar. There is also a wonderful pool and lots of sunshine. Enjoy the day!

Thanks Tom, we've enjoyed some sail and snorkle trips in the past, and read about Coz's beachs at the link you provided, so we thought we'd try something a little more laid back, and just thought Nachi Cocum might suit us "old folks". Thanks for taking the time to answer my inquiry!

Tom / Others: Thinking seriously about Nachi Cocum ourselves for our Cozumel day. Can we walk there from the pier? Has anyone NOT bought the all-inclusive online beforehand, and had luck just walking up and doing the same? That is day 3 out of 3 in a row ports, and we may choose to spend the day on the ship if we're "pooped"....so a bit hesitant to purchase beforehand. Any thoughts? Walk vs taxi, pre-pay vs spontaneous? Thanks!

No, walking to Nachi Cocum would be too far. A taxi will charge you $10 each way. Depending on which pier that you dock at, there are generally beaches within easy walking distance if you just want to get some sun and sand time in.
