Hi! Just got back. This is some ship. Got to ship at noon and took about 30 minutes total to board, check in, picture, everything. Debarkation was also no problem but got off at 7:30 a.m. with tags in the first group. The service was wonderful, all the staff was terrific. Special commendation to the activities staff: some of the best people I have seen and the patience exhibited to all the first timers (including me!) on the flowrider was really to their credit.
The ship was beautiful and amazing. One thing we always enjoy is the art collections on these ships--this is the one place the Liberty OTS is sadly lacking. No other negatives at all.
Food was plentiful and beautifully prepared and presented. Even got hot toast and crispy bacon in the Windjammer. Sorentos Pizza was a great addition. Probably the best food we have had on RCCL in the past several years.
Entertainment was all good with the exception of something called "In The Air". I don't claim to be a real sophisticate but have been around dance and live theatre my entire adult life. This production was disjointed and made no sense. Someone said it was like dropping acid again and I could concur without ever having tried an acid trip. Yikes!
Itinery was Western and we used primarily Shoretrips.com and were thrilled. Did one trip through RCCL (Mo-bay--we were playing it safe sticking with the ship's offerings in this dicey port) and were disappointed. It was river tubing and there was very little water in the river. The vender said they would be closing the following week--RCCL should have had better info about this offering in my opinion.
Can't wait to book the next cruise!
