Excursion Suggestions for Cozumel & Costa Maya?

I agree with Penny, Xel Ha is totally awesome and Tulum ruins are beautiful. The coast line at Tulum is surreal. If you like snorkeling, Xel Ha is the way to go

Go to tulum! Even if you think the excusion is long it is worth it and I recommend Xel-Ha also which could be done in one day. Xcaret is fantastic also but is a place to visit for a whole day. You can float down an underground river! Take the ferry to Playa and then a taxi to xcaret - $10 but I would take a collectivo to Xel-Ha if you want to spend the day - it is about 20 mins from Playa - unless it is a shore excursion and you don't mind paying for that!
