Xcaret

has anyone done the Xcaret excursion thru the ship. Is it better to do it on our own and pay the taxi fare, or thru the ship and use the bus.
also is snorkeling included in the admission price.

Hey, Macmom111! I think I was supposed to get back with you when we got done with our cruise but I can't for the life of me remember what questions you had. I did a lot of research on the Xcaret excursion from Cozumel but decided against it because of the cost involved and the minimal time that you get to spend there. If you figure the cost of going there from Cozumel, plus the ferry ride and taxi, and then the possibility of being late to the ship, the only way to go to Xcaret from Cozumel is to take the ship's excursion. thanks, we are docking in Calica so it is like 5 miles down the road. then headed to cozumel the next day. I think we will try Xcaret. last time we were there we rented a car and did our own tour thing.

Well, I am soooo jealous. You will have to let me know how you liked it. Have you checked out the website for them? The tickets are alot cheaper than our excursion would have been. That place looks awesome! Have fun!
