When I was 13, (Many Moons Ago)my father was a US Border Patrol officer. He took us deep into Mexico on vacation - wife & 3 young kids - to visit the pyramids in Chichen Itza & Uxmal. Got lost and almost ended up in Central America. It was the trip of a lifetime, but one you wouldn't dare take now!!
