I can do this, only 2 more weeks, I can do this! Laurie, south is great, too! I actually prefer the southern to the western, but I do enjoy Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Thanks DrL!

Hi,
thanks so much for the tip. I checked both, cruise offer and two other (Mobby Dick and Marvins tours). They both cost about the same - 35/40 dollars a person for 3 hours. Do you have a different suggestions? Where did you book?
thanks again for your help

There are plenty of vendors around the port area, some good, some not so good. If it's about the same price, I'd go with the ship's excursions. That way there is no worry. If something happens, the ship will wait for you since they are in contact with their vendors.
My first choice would be Captain Marvins. REmember it is good to have that layer of protection of booking through the ship, however, a vender like Captain Marvins has a longstanding relationship with cruise customers and they don't get and keep that by goofing up people's travel. I would book with confidence a "known quantity" such as Captain Marvins or Moby Dicks, especially on a small island where it doesn't take an hour to return to the cruise terminal. Have fun!
