Renting car in the bahamas

Has anyone rented a car in either Freeport or Nassau? If so,was it a wise move? Where did you go etc?

No, I have never rented to a car in either. I would not drive in Nassau if someone gave me a car. It is beyond hectic. Its like Nashville or St Louis during rush hour, but the streets are the size of our driveways.
We took a tour with one of the guides right outside of the boat. It cost $25 per person. It was great.

I think Emily said this right! Unless one is accustomed to driving on the left side of a very small street, and is very familiar with the area...I would say this is NOT a wise move.
