Quilting fabric available?

Here's something a little different. As a quilter, I got to wondering if there were any fabric shops where we will be, San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Martin, Tortola, or Nassau. It might be sort of fun to put together a quilt from the cruise. Anyone have any suggestions?

That sounds like a fun idea. I have seen lots of beach type wraps (like the skirt you tie) that might be used for fabric. In St. Kitts, we went to a batik factory and they did have fabric. I'll bet there are some shops around. There loads of shops in St. Thomas and St. Maarten. There were vendors set up outside the terminal in Tortola, but I didn't go into town for shopping so I'm not sure what's available there. In Nassau you could probably find something in the straw market area. Let us know how you make out when you return.
