Cozumel and Costa maya,need help

Wondering what to do in these places as far as excursions. what do you think is the best one that you have went on in these places if this help we are sailing on NCL Sun in January.

Please help just can not decide would love any input.

Check back through many of the recent topic posts. There are quite a few that review some of the things to do in Cozumel/Costa Maya. Takes time to "piece together", but probably worth it. We're going to Costa Maya in November, and the prior posts gave me some good pointers.

Check out Xel-ha and Tulhum. Xel-has is great for water activities and Tulhum ruins are fascinating. Check for a swim with the dolphins, it is awesome.

We took an excursion to the Chacchoben Ruins while at Costa Maya. It wasn't as far away as Tulum, which was nice. The Ruins were very impressive and I would recommend it if you don't want to spend an entire day going to Tulum.

You must not miss Tulum and you can squeeze Xel-Ha in, not to be missed either.

Very much agree, Tulum is breathtaking and educational. Xel Ha is totally awesome if you like snorkeling. Had a great time there. I did a combo with both on one day but found that there was too little time on each. If I had to choose a whole day, I'd go with Xel Ha slightly, because it would be a whole bunch more fun, but Tulum would be a whole bunch more beautiful. The coastline there is totally unforgettable, heavenly, surreal.
