We will be in Antigua Feb., 2006 and are wondering if anyone knows which beach between Dickinson Bay and Dian Bay would be more fun, prettier, etc. Any input would be helpful for those of you that may have been to either or both. Thanks!

Forst of all, here is a link to the port review for Antigua that contains lots of info on the port in cluding info and pictures of the beaches.

It depends on what your definition of "fun" is. Dickinson offers a much more active crowd and beach amenities while adjacent beaches are much more relaxed and lend themselves to a more indibidual experience. You can't go wrong no matter what you choose.

We have been to Antiqua many times and stayed on the island as well as stops on cruises. Their claim to fame is they have 365 beaches ( one for everyday of the year). As Tom said, it depends on what type of beach you are seeking. They all have their charm. Many of them however do not have near by facilities or places for a snack. Some also are heavier with no-see-ems. Do not forget a can of off to spray. Available just of pier if you do not want to take with you.
