Hi everyone
We are going on Constellation - ultimate caribbean cruise in March and one of the ports is Colon. We have never visited the panama area before and were rather looking forward to going on an excursion to view ships passing through the locks. However, looking online I was dismayed to find that Colon appears to be a very dangerous place. This might sound a silly question, but are you safe on an organised excursion or will you still have to walk/ride through areas where muggings etc are rife? Thanks for reading.
