Chac-chi beach resort/Costa Maya

Has anyone heard of this Chac-Chi resort in Costa Maya? I have read alot of reviews on it on another cruise site.....it appears to be a heavenly resort that the cruise lines do not promote, and apparently very difficult to get to. But,well worth the trip if you can find it!

I have just e-mailed the resort to clarify the most up-to-date directions. I will let you know what they say. I know you can get in a taxi behind the pier and the driver can bring you there in about 10 minutes. There is a way to crawl through a fence and walk there also. Again, as soon as I hear from the resort, I will let you know!

It is me again....this is the response I got from the Chac-Chi Resort in Costa Maya. It looks like taking a taxi for 4-5 miles to the resort is best! Have a great time!


Hi,

The only way to get in is by using our main entrance located at the main
highway of Mahahual. You have to use a car since is a 3miles road. You can
either take a taxi or rent a golf car.

We will be having snacks, drinks and beer.
