what excursions do you recommend in St. Thomas. We will be going in Dec. and i'm worried about the weather. I have heard the snorkeling is gorgeous and Trunk Bay is a must?? Thanks for all your input.

The weather in December is wonderful, unless there's a hurricane like last year. Trunk Bay is gorgeous, it is one of the top ten beaches in the world. I've lost count on how many trips we've made to Trunk Bay. We get into St. Thomas and I always say, maybe we'll go to Maagen's Bay, we seem to always end up on St. John and Trunk Bay. You'll love it!!
I guess I'm the only one in this group that's been to Coki beach. No one has commented on it any how. It's my second choice, my first choice is Trunk Bay. Coki Beach is three times clearer than Magens Bay Beach. At Coki Beach you can swim, snorkel, jet ski, para sail, scuba dive and get some sun. It is the only beach on the island that has all the water sports available. Coki Beach hosts the worlds famous Coral World Marine Park. I guess that's why I like it. Not to mention the great drinks then come around with. There is no charge except for the taxi to get there.
SonnyV, you are right, I do forget Coki. I guess I get caught up in Trunk Bay, but Coki's nice as well. I'm not into the parasailing and jet skiing that much. I like snorkeling without a bunch of water vehicles whipping around. I think that's why I like Magens better. However, we both agree on Trunk Bay
They're supposed to be. Of course, it was probably 5 years ago (maybe more)when we went to Coki, and they were zooming around us. We're hitting St. Thomas twice this year. I told my hubby once we'd go to Trunk Bay and once we'd do Magens, maybe we'll give Coki a try again. But if I was a betting person, (love to gamble) I'd take odds on being at Trunk Bay twice.
When you go to St. Thomas do you take a certain excursion over to Trunk Bay? How much is it? Can you do the beach and maybe snorkeling in the same day? We have about 13 hours (i think) at St. Thomas. Do you have any pics I could see?
