A word of warning....be VERY VERY careful about renting ANYTHING motorized in the Caribbean. In the US they keep the equipment new and maintained. In the Caribbean they use the same stuff year after year and many of them just simply are being held to gether with string and tape. They are very dangerous. Some work just fine, but most are an accident waiting to happen. Be leary of jetskis, motor skooters, and rental boats.

I agree with Steve. Be very careful. There aren't any codes/laws enforced in other countries like there are here in the U.S.

The cruise lines will also tell you to stay away from private water taxis, parasailing, jet skiis, etc., anyone who is not recommended vendors hired through the cruise lines. They want their passengers to play it safe while cruising with them.
